Otep is an LA-based, female-fronted nu metal/rapcore band consisting of Otep Shamaya (vocals), Lee Rios (guitar), Doug Pellerin (drums), and eViL j (bassist). Witnessing a brief live performance impressed Sharon Osbourne enough for Otep to land a spot on Ozzfest before signing onto a label.
