Firehouse is an American hair metal band that was formed in 1989.
The band released it's self-titled debut Firehouse in 1990. The album produced the hits "Shake & Tumble", "Don't Treat Me Bad" and the power ballad "Love Of A Lifetime".
The band won the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band in 1991 at the American Music Awards.
Firehouse appeared toward the end of the "hair metal" era and its music was labelled as formulaic by many critics.
Although Firehouse's hayday was over a decade ago, their last major hit being "When I Look Into Your Eyes" c. 1992, the band continues to tour and produce new music, their most recent album being 2003's Prime Time.
